March 28, 2017, 07:20 AM

Wintrust Commercial Finance (WCF) announced that Justin Clark has joined the company’s Capital Markets team as Vice President.  Clark, who will report to Tom Forbes, Senior Vice President of Capital Markets, will be located in WCF’s Frisco headquarters and will focus on helping to build out WCF’s sell-side syndication platform as WCF’s direct originations team grows and generates large distribution opportunities.  He will also be responsible for further developing and implementing WCF’s Salesforce platform.

“Wintrust Commercial Finance is truly excited to bring Justin’s depth and variety of experience to our business,” said Forbes. “The build out of our syndication platform is the next step in our evolution to a full-service commercial financial services provider.   Justin’s diverse background is well-suited to help develop our syndication capabilities to support direct originations.”

Clark holds a BA in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and brings 13 years of business experience, including 10 years in the commercial finance industry, to WCF. Before joining Wintrust he was Lead Risk Analyst in the Vendor Finance division with Wells Fargo Equipment Finance.  His prior experience included roles with U.S. Bank Corporate Trust Services, PlainsCapital Bank and Hudson Advisors.

WCF is an equipment-focused financing group, headquartered in Frisco, Texas, offering sophisticated loan and lease products to commercial companies throughout the United States. Focus industries include transportation, construction, manufacturing, energy services, aviation and turnkey property, plant and equipment, among others. WCF is a business unit of Wintrust Financial Corporation.
