Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP Continues NYC Office Growth

Marc Hamroff, managing partner of Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP, announced that the attorneys of the law firm of Morgenthau & Greenes LLP have joined the firm. Joel L. Morgenthau joins the firm as a partner, Steven R. Greenes joins the firm as of counsel and Vincent A. Balardi joins the firm as counsel. All join the firm's corporate and real estate practice groups and reside in the firm's New York City office.

Joel L. Morgenthau has over 30 years of experience representing privately and publicly held companies, entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals.  His practice includes the representation of a broad range of clients in various industries, including; security guard and security integration companies, transportation companies, wholesale paper distributors, franchisors (men's personal care and transportation), medical professionals and practices, national and regional banks, window manufacturers, real estate owners, developers and commercial tenants, real estate maintenance companies, broker-dealers and investment advisors and technology companies. He also handles corporate and transactional related matters including mergers and acquisitions, shareholder, operating, partnership and employment agreements, and commercial bank agreements. In addition to his practice, Mr. Morgenthau has served on the board of directors for both privately and publicly held companies.  His practice also includes serving as an executor and trustee for estates and trusts, as well as counsel to those entities. He earned his Juris Doctor from New York University.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Morgenthau was a founding partner of Morgenthau & Greenes LLP, a boutique corporate and real estate law firm, established in 1985 in New York City.

Steven R. Greenes has over 30 years of experience representing publicly and privately held design, branding and website development firms. The scope of his practice is diversified and includes the negotiation and preparation of master sales agreements, project and joint venture agreements as well as drafting shareholder and operating agreements, employment and severance agreements, effecting corporate mergers and acquisitions and representing clients in restrictive covenant disputes. Mr. Greenes also serves as counsel to many closely held companies in the New York metropolitan area and has handled numerous disputes between owners of those companies resulting from oppression of minority owners, including dissolution and valuation proceedings.  He has also served as lead counsel in disputes involving major Manhattan medical practices and well known real estate ownership and brokerage groups in heavily contested matters. Mr. Greenes also handles various complex real estate matters including the sale, refinancing and leasing of commercial and high end residential properties and lease buyouts. He earned his Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Greenes was a founding partner at Morgenthau & Greenes LLP.

Vincent A. Balardi concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate, corporate, general commercial, financing and intellectual property matters. His practice includes representing entrepreneurs and mid-sized clients in both real estate and corporate related matters, including commercial and residential real estate sales and purchases, commercial leasing and subleasing, term loan and construction loan financing and mortgage refinancing transactions, Section 1031 tax deferred exchanges, mergers and acquisitions, trademarks and copyrights, and general business transactions. He earned his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Balardi was a partner at Morgenthau & Greenes LLP.
