October 23, 2018, 07:05 AM

Fleet Advantage, a leading innovator in truck fleet business analytics, equipment financing and lifecycle cost management, announced Don Davis has joined the company as Vice President, Strategic Fleet Solutions. In this role he will be responsible for advancing the company’s strategic initiatives and enhancing relationships for private fleet and for-hire carrier clients throughout the U.S.

Davis comes to Fleet Advantage with over 25 years of industry experience signing and retaining business accounts by building long-term successful relationships with national fleet and transportation companies. He is skillful in identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities to build revenue while capturing and developing key accounts, the company said. He is highly effective in providing a consultative, solutions-oriented business development approach, which will be instrumental in helping deliver the Fleet Advantage value proposition in front of new and existing clients.

Prior to Fleet Advantage, Davis served as a National Accounts Sales Executive with PACCAR Leasing Company, based in Dallas. He has also served in executive sales roles with several other fleet truck organizations throughout the country.

“We look forward to having Don become a key member of the executive fleet solutions team, and we feel his background will greatly benefit our clients to serve their fleet and transportation needs,” said Brian Holland, President and CFO of Fleet Advantage. “Don brings with him decades of experience in providing a consultative approach to the fleet industry, and he will benefit our clients as he helps develop and implement unique fleet management solutions to organizations throughout the country looking to lower their costs, increase asset utilization efficiencies and improve their bottom line.”

Davis graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in political science.
