April 16, 2019, 07:22 AM

Sertant Capital announced that David L. Lamb has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. He will be based out of Sertant’s Utah office and report to CEO Dan Krajewski.

Lamb will oversee the financial planning, financial reporting and operational controls of the company. Lamb adds more than 25 years of business experience in a variety of industries, including automobile finance, equipment finance, fleet rentals and high-tech industries to the Sertant team.

Prior to Sertant, Lamb successfully co-founded and served as CFO for two startups, AVID Acceptance and Flex Fleet Rental. In addition, Lamb served as CFO of Tetra Financial Group, an equipment leasing company and as Senior Vice President of Finance for Prestige Financial. All four of these companies continue to be successful.

Lamb earned his MBA from Brigham Young University, B.S. from University of Minnesota and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) professional designation.

Krajewski stated, “David is an accomplished financial executive who will position Sertant for success moving forward. His business acumen in the equipment finance space aligns well with Sertant’s growth efforts in 2019. We are excited to add David to our leadership team.”

Lamb added, “I’m excited to join this experienced and talented team of leasing professionals where my background and skills will be synergistic to the management team. Sertant Capital is well positioned to expand its origination platform to better serve its clients nationwide and I’m looking forward to helping Sertant execute its strategy.”
