Balboa Capital announced with great sadness that John (Jack) Hirsh, one of its longest tenured sales and business development managers in its commercial vehicle dealer division, suddenly passed away July 8 in Cincinnati, OH.

"It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my great friend and colleague Jack Hirsh," said Phil Silva, President of Balboa Capital. "Those of us who have been fortunate to know and work with Jack have lost an amazing mentor and caring leader who brought unmatched experience in commercial vehicle dealer financing to Balboa Capital for close to eight years, along with a willingness to listen and help where he could. More than anything, Jack was kind and caring, and a man of strong character who invested in all those who came in contact with him. On behalf of our management team and employees, we extend our deepest sympathies to Jack's wife Joan and their family and friends at this difficult time. Jack will clearly be missed and remain in the hearts of all of us at BalboaNation."

Prior to his time at Balboa Capital, Jack spent close to 50 years in the equipment finance business working for fine companies like The Associates, CitiCapital and Key Equipment Finance.

A viewing and mass are scheduled for Saturday, July 13 starting at 11 a.m. at Saint Veronica's Church in Cincinnati, OH.

Balboa Capital employees will celebrate Jack's life by sharing their thoughts, memories, stories and heartfelt condolences in an online memorial that will be shared with his wife and family members.
