ECS Financial Services has once again earned a place among the Best Places to Work in Illinois, as recognized by Daily Herald Suburban Business. This back-to-back honor confirms what the ECS firm already knows: their workplace culture is something special.
ECS Financial Services secured the #17 spot in the highly competitive Small Employers category. The official rankings were announced during the Daily Herald’s Recognition and Ranking Reveal Event on May 7th, 2026, at Abbington Distinctive Banquets in Glen Ellyn, Ill. ECS Financial Services was honored once again for their workplace culture, clear and trustworthy communication, and the way they value their employees.
Having first earned this distinction in 2025, ECS Financial Services has now proven that their commitment to a people-first culture is not a one-time achievement, but a defining characteristic of who they are as an organization.
“Being recognized for the second consecutive year reflects the consistency and commitment of our entire team,” said Kim Seigel, Shareholder at ECS Financial Services. “We’ve worked hard to build a culture that supports our people and encourages collaboration, and it’s rewarding to see that recognized again. We’re grateful to everyone who contributes to making ECS a great place to work, and we’re excited to continue building on that momentum.”
Finalists included exemplary companies from across the state. The winners were selected through a meticulous survey process conducted by Workforce Research Group. Twenty percent of the results are based on employer responses and a significant 80% are derived from employee feedback, making this award a true testament to how the ECS team feels about where they work.
“Earning this recognition two years in a row is incredibly meaningful to us,” says Karen Tworek, Principal at ECS Financial Services. “Hearing that reflected in our team’s feedback makes it especially rewarding and reinforces our commitment to listening and continuing to improve. We’re proud to keep building a workplace where our people can succeed.”
