Crestmark EF CIO Joins ELFA Operations & Technology Planning Committee

February 15, 2019, 07:10 AM

Crestmark Equipment Finance (CEF) announced the appointment of the division’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) Jeffrey Emrich to the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association’s (ELFA) Operations & Technology Planning Committee for 2019.

The goal of the Operations & Technology Planning Committee is to provide guidance on the training needs of the operations and systems management personnel within the ELFA member companies, helping to plan and develop the ELFA Operations & Technology Conference & Exhibition, and to be an information resource to ELFA members.

“This is a nice opportunity for the CEF division, and well-deserved recognition of Jeff’s extensive industry knowledge and technical experience,” said Jim Recker, CEF Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel. “CEF strives to be an industry leader in leveraging technology to assist in providing creative financial solutions to our customers. We’re fortunate to have a senior technology officer with Jeff’s leadership and vision.”

“I’m excited to have the opportunity to work with the top operations and technology leaders in our industry to attempt to bring new insight and innovation to this year’s Operations and Technology Conference,” Emrich said. “Our customers are demanding continual technological innovation and we hope that the conference will spur all of us to identify and improve upon the use of technology tools to satisfy our customers’ evolving needs.”

Emrich rejoined Crestmark from Blue Bridge Financial LLC, where he was Vice President of Information Technology. From 2014 to 2016, he served Crestmark as Vice President, Information Systems Manager, a position he secured after Crestmark acquired TIP Capital, where he was Chief Information Officer since 2002. He also held a Director of Information Systems position at Lease Corporation of America. Emrich earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Central Michigan University and a master’s degree in business information technology from Walsh College.
