CSI Leasing Exceeds $1B in NBV in FY 2015; Announces 15 Promotions

CSI Leasing recently held its annual sales meeting to review fiscal year 2015 and kick off fiscal year 2016. During the meeting, president and COO, Steve Hamilton announced that, for the first time in company history, CSI exceeded $1 billion in new lease originations in one year.

“I am pleased to announce that we hit such an incredible landmark last year,” said Hamilton. “Reaching $1 billion in new lease volume throughout the course of one year is a true accomplishment and I want to thank everyone at CSI for all their hard work and dedication.”

Hamilton also reviewed the recent investment in CSI by Century Tokyo Leasing Corporation (CTL). In March, CTL purchased approximately 35 percent of the common stock of CSI. Several CTL executives were present at the meetings and offered further insight into how the two companies can work together.

“I see tremendous potential in the near future for CSI and CTL,” said Toshio Kitamura, of CTL’s global business department, who was recently appointed to CSI’s board of directors. “With our combined global network, increasing portfolio and the right synergy, the future success of our two companies is unlimited.” 

Fifteen officer promotions were announced at the meeting, including three sales executives who were promoted to district managers.

Jeanne Norris, senior vice president, human resources. Previously vice president, Norris manages the human resource department that is responsible for all of CSI’s employees in the U.S. and Canada. She has been with CSI for 13 years.

Janine Todd, senior vice president, accounting. Previously vice president, Todd is responsible for consolidated financial reporting and manages a team of accounting professionals responsible for corporate and international accounting, tax and accounts payable.  She has been with CSI for 19 years.

Jason Brock, senior vice president and district manager of sales, Eastern Canada. Previously senior vice president, Brock will continue to be responsible for originating equipment lease transactions and lifecycle solutions. In this new role, he will also lead a team of associate account executives in the region. He is based in Toronto and has been with CSI for 14 years.

 Patrick Gloriod, vice president and district manager of sales, Carolina region. Previously vice president, Gloriod will continue to be responsible for originating equipment lease transactions and lifecycle solutions. In this new role, he will also lead a team of account executives in the region. He is based in Atlanta and has been with CSI for 16 years.

Tim O’Brien, vice president and district manager of sales, Boston region. Previously vice president, O’Brien will continue to be responsible for originating equipment lease transactions and lifecycle solutions. In this new role, he will also lead a team of associate account executives in the region. He is based in Boston and has been with CSI for 13 years.

Christine Foelsing, vice president, corporate accounting manager. Previously assistant vice president, Foelsing manages a team of accountants responsible for processing and reporting lease transactions for the U.S. portfolio, managing accounts payable and preparing consolidating financial statements. She has been with CSI for 25 years.

Brian Foley, vice president, sales. Previously account executive, Foley will continue his role of originating equipment lease transactions and lifecycle solutions, primarily in the Midwest. He lives in Chicago and has been with for CSI 10 years.

Kirk Kasicki, vice president, corporate tax. Previously assistant vice president, Kasicki oversees CSI’s worldwide income tax filings and related accounting. He has been with CSI for 9 years.

Laura Kelemetc, vice president and international accounting manager. Previously assistant vice president, Kelemetc manages a team of accountants that are responsible for the consolidation of all CSI’s foreign subsidiary financial statements. She has been with CSI for 25 years.

Matt Kersting, vice president, credit administration. Kersting manages CSI’s international credit portfolio, primarily focusing on the Latin American and Asia-Pacific regions. He has been with CSI for 6 years. 

Kevin Womble, vice president, sales and property tax. Previously assistant vice president, Womble manages a team of tax accountants that prepares, files and analyzes sales and property tax for all U.S. customers. In addition, his group is responsible for CSI Leasing’s VAT compliance and all GST/HST/PST compliance of CSI Leasing Canada.  He has been with CSI for 19 years.

Alex Kafoury, assistant vice president and corporate counsel. Previously corporate attorney, Kafoury will continue his role as an attorney in the legal department, assisting with both domestic and international matters. He has been with CSI for 3 years.

Kristin Putnam, assistant vice president and senior legal assistant. Previously senior legal assistant, Putnam will continue her role in the legal department drafting, editing and reviewing contracts and other legal documents for all of CSI’s U.S. and Canadian-based customers. Putnam has been with CSI for 22 years.

Deb Wess, assistant vice president. Previously accounts receivable supervisor, Wess manages a team of accounts receivable bookkeepers that is responsible for invoicing CSI’s U.S. and Canadian customers. She has been with CSI for 28 years.

Ann Whittaker, assistant vice president, sales and property tax. Previously sales and property tax supervisor, Whittaker manages a team of tax accountants that prepares, file and analyzes sales and property tax for all CSI’s U.S. customers. She has been with CSI for 10 years.
