November 27, 2012, 07:30 AM

TD Bank has appointed two executives to senior regional leadership roles in the company’s growing Healthcare Banking group.

Emmet Conlon, Senior Vice President, Healthcare Leader for New York, has been named Head of Healthcare, North, overseeing TD’s relationships with healthcare organizations in markets from Maine to Delaware. Colleen Mullaney, Senior Vice President, Healthcare Leader for Florida, will now serve as Head of Healthcare, South, overseeing markets between Washington, D.C., and Florida. Both positions will report to Greg Braca, Head of Corporate and Specialty Banking, TD Bank.

With TD already one of the foremost healthcare banking providers in several core markets, Conlon and Mullaney will oversee the continued expansion of the company’s Healthcare Banking group. They will also be responsible for leading market-based teams in delivering customized solutions to healthcare organizations from Maine to Florida. TD’s Healthcare Banking group serves large healthcare entities, with a focus on acute care (hospitals and academic medical centers) and long-term care (skilled nursing facilities, home care).

“Both Emmet and Colleen are seasoned healthcare bankers with deep industry experience and outstanding track records. Their insight and commitment to excellence will be critical as we accelerate our growth strategy for Healthcare as a franchise specialty business within TD Bank,” said Braca. “Emmet and Colleen’s leadership will allow us to deepen relationships across our East Coast footprint as we help our customers manage the increasingly complex challenges unique to the healthcare industry.”

Conlon, who will be based in New York, N.Y., has 20 years of experience in the banking industry, with 15 of those years focused on healthcare finance. He joined TD Bank in 2002 and has played a key role in building out TD Bank’s Healthcare franchise in the New York region. Prior to joining TD, Conlon served as Senior Vice President for Fleet Bank N.A. as a relationship manger in the New York Healthcare Group. He is a member of Healthcare Financial Management Association, Healthcare Leaders of New York, a Trustee of New York Citizens Budget Commission, a member of the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick, and is on the board of the Incarnation Children’s Center in New York.

Mullaney, who will be based in West Palm Beach, Fla., has more than 25 years of experience in financial services, with 15 of those years focused on healthcare finance. In her role as Head of Healthcare, South, she will continue to focus on the organic growth of TD Bank’s healthcare banking portfolio in the southern markets, leading a team of professionals responsible for the sourcing, underwriting and servicing of all healthcare relationships from Washington, D.C., to Florida. Mullaney is actively involved with several community organizations in the healthcare industry, including South Florida Homes and Hospital Association, LeadingAge Florida (formerly FAHSA), Healthcare Financial Management Association, and Florida Healthcare Association. She is also Treasurer of Women’s Healthcare Executive Network of South Florida.

TD Bank’s Healthcare Banking group utilizes a relationship banking approach, delivering services and solutions tailored to healthcare clients, including access to capital, equipment finance, cash management, and wealth management.
