Tamarack Technology announced the launch of an AI-powered origination solution designed to modernize application intake and document workflows for equipment finance lenders.
Powered by Sharpei’s AI-driven automation technology, the solution helps lenders streamline application processing while maintaining their existing loan origination systems.
“Application intake and document management are still major operational bottlenecks for many lenders,” said Mitch Peterson, EVP of operations at Tamarack. “By combining Tamarack’s robust industry expertise with Sharpei’s AI automation technology, we’re delivering a practical solution that allows lenders to modernize origination workflows without disrupting existing systems.”
Simplifying application intake and document collection will help streamline some of the most manual and resource-intensive steps in the equipment finance origination process. Many lenders still rely on fragmented workflows, manual document review, and multiple disconnected systems, slowing credit decisions and increasing operational costs.
The Tamarack solution introduces an intelligent automation platform to capture borrower applications, validate documents and route information directly into existing underwriting and LOS environments.
The platform automates key stages of the origination process, including:
- AI-driven application intake
- Document collection and validation
- Workflow routing and exception management
- Integration with existing loan origination systems and data providers
By improving efficiency of these early stages of the origination lifecycle, lenders can increase throughput and reduce manual processing without replacing core technology systems.
“Tamarack’s deep relationships across the equipment finance industry and their implementation experience make them an ideal partner to bring this technology to market,” said Julian Azofra, co-founder of Sharpei. “Together we can help lenders simplify the most time-consuming parts of the origination process.”
The launch reflects Tamarack’s broader strategy of helping equipment finance organizations modernize their technology ecosystems through intelligent automation and integration. The solution is now available to equipment finance institutions across the United States.
